    I think he was near the top last season to be honest.

    Didn't he score 7 goals last season?

    Other than the guy who was at centre half for Bristol last season and scored 10 (including a hat-trick), I don't think many other defenders have been so prolific in recent times.

    Seems to be a dying breed a defender who can chip in with goals so it's great to have Mawson. Smashing free-kick today. Solid defender too, much improved recently.

    Top top player said it from the start. Alfie's had some stick on here (quelle surprise) but he continues to develop and he will eventually be prem quality.

    I think he's better without Long.

    Even when Long was with us I felt he looked sloppy & had an M'Voto moment in him most games but he's really stepped up since Long went back
