    His career seems to have really stalled. Wasn't he on the brink of the England team not so very long ago?

    Only played 42 games for Fulham in 2 seasons with surprisingly no goals. Always looked a goal threat when playing for us and Swansea from corners and free kicks

    I loved Alfie when he was here. He was so calm and composed on the ball.

    I thought he’d become an accomplished premier league by now but it hasn’t happened. He definitely needs to be playing regularly in the championship to try and get some of his form back.

    He was fantastic in the oppositions box but I don’t think he was ever a quality defender. Personally felt Roberts was better at actually defending but Mawson was excellent on the ball

    That year we had kevin long, Marc Roberts and Alfie Mawson. In my opinion he was by far the weakest of the three. Thought he was beckenbauer but in reality gave the ball away almost as often as Mads Andersen

    I'm pleased for him because modern day football is all about how much brass you can make, and he's made a bit. In my opinion he's just a regular championship defender.
    In his defence, he probably knows his limits and capabilities, so if clubs are daft enough to keep throwing money at him he'll be an happy recipient.

    To be fair that eze has looked quality whenever I've seen him last season. 16million is alot but so is 10million for toney or 4million for will grigg. Hes worth as much as fulham will pay and they wont give a **** because they have just gained over 100million for getting promoted. Although I can remember when 15million got you alan Shearer the best striker in england....
