Re: so we can put that one to bed then No not at all I'm saying we should identify players who will be demanding wages we can afford and fees we see as value for money and pay them, it's simple we can afford players 75% of our league can't, but as soon as a championship side shows interest forget about it stop wasting your time give him a offer and move on once our first choice moves we should be announcing the signing of our second choice not looking round for another option as the clock ticks down to kick off

We need to get act together now though, but i believe if he was at Oakwell the other day, we offered him a deal there and then and its him who is looking at his other offers. Be dissapointed if we dont get him but we move on and hopefully find another gem like Scowen, Hourihane, Winnall
I'm sure we will have plan Bs, Cs and Ds for this kinda thing. We go for our plan A targets hoping we can get them. We know bigger clubs with more cash are likely to come in for them and so will miss out on some but we can at least say we tried.
