Absolutely bizarre move if true. Top scorer in L1 at an average side, Huddersfield is arguably a sideways move. Why on earth he hasn't had suitors in higher divisions is beyond me.
There's no way it'll be a sideways move, surely Huddersfield will be going for the title along side Birmingham? They will certainly pay him a lot more. Charlton definitely underperformed last season, I think they'll be a lot better this upcoming one. But I'll be shocked if they finish above them.
Do Huddersfield have cash to spend, I was led to believe they were skint ,hence trying to get Helik off the wage bill. Seems I got this wrong.
Not sure it's a sideways move. Huddersfield are one of the favourites to win the league, Charlton have a lot of work to do to be considered even a top half team I reckon. Similar size clubs maybe, and maybe even a similar size budget, but I don't think they'll be competing for league positions this season.
They’ve just sold Jack Rudoni to Coventry for £5M but like every transfer these days it will be paid in instalments over a few years.
I was unaware of this ,I supose this could finance the new signings if paying will be installments too. I was really hoping for us to re sign Helik but that seems to be diminishing slowly.
I saw that whilst looking at Mays transfer, how much have Coventry spent in the last two seasons?? I know they got a bit for their striker a couple of seasons ago. I suppose they're doing the opposite to us, we sell for £5m and sign two players for 400k...

Yeah, rumours of Birmingham in for him now. A lot of their rumours seem to involve a lot of money. If any come true they’ll end up spending a fortune. Let’s hope this time next year they’re still in league 1.
