please understand this is not a pop at you just a friendly question/view. you and I have run of the mill jobs I think it may be safe to say, we go about our lives as many many others do. I get a great deal of fulfillment from my work, as I hope you do from your job.But I often dream of how it would be to be a top Sporting Star, a top Musician, a fashion Icon, A film star or a tv/radio Celeb. I am sure you do too. Now the thing is there are some who have all of that, but very often they forget that they are the chosen few who are blessed with a gift, be it sporting or otherwise. When some get all out of hand and feel they have a bad deal on their mega bucks wages then I feel outraged, the guy who is putting a shift in at the local hospital or the man on call to fight fires, the fella sweeping a street or stacking a shelf may feel a bit envious. what I am bangin on is the fact that if they showed a bit more humility and gratitude for the wonderful privilege they have in life then I and many might be at one with them and respect them more.
As a woman who has put in more shifts in a hospital than I care to count I think many 'celebs' have right to have a a paddy when their personal life is intruded upon
thats not what I was saying at all.their privacy should be respected of course but when they moan about having a bad lot in life and how they feel they are underpaid overworked etc , as many do. Then sorry I have no feeling at all for them.
RE: Is that pertinant to the Howard situation? his personallife should be his own. If some have done that to him then they should be despised.
However with fame comes publicity they wouldnt have the money if it wasnt for that fact so to me its an either or.
