    If ever one game served to showcase the way the season has gone as a whole, it was today.

    It's all boils down to quality. We had plenty of possession and similar amount of shots on and off target, but Derby were just superior, as many teams have been in that department.

    They got from back to front so quickly, whereas we are so ponderous it's unreal. We pass up crossing opportunities to have an extra touch.

    Most disappointing is we have a beast of a ball winner up front, but no one ever gets beyond him for the flick on. He just looks throughly frustrated.

    Derbys goalscorers must have a combined income of around £100k a week. You can't put together a rag tag team like we have and expect it to be competitive in such company, its just too much to expect.

    Barnsley fc has let itself down badly by snatching defeat from jaws of victory. The only people that aren't culpable are our fans.
