i may be wrong but this is my take on things. Hill has publicly stated he wants backing. The current board have remained silent, hence not backing him. Im hoping this is because they are trying to rush a takeover through so the new buyers can bring their own manager in. Hill is still here at the moment trying to gain any points. The board dont want to sack him until things are in place. With takeovers things remain quiet due to confidentiality agreements. I hope im right, so i'll try my best to be patient. But this is hard to do when your club is 2nd from bottom.
Its just possible that things have gone quiet on the takeover because there's not gonna be one we may have to play the cards we are left with after January.
I think the board have backed him greatly by not sacking a manager...... 1) Who's not won an home game in four months. 2) Who's only won 9 games in the whole of 2012. 3) Who's allowed him to have a squad of over 30 first team players. 4) Who was allowed to recently bring in four loan players. 5) Who is on the verge of giving us the worse winless streak for 60 years.
Spot on Dreamboy. I don't think Hill could have more backing in that sense from the owner of any football club.
