<p class="MsoNormal" style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt"><span style="FONT-FAMILY: " new??="" courier=""></span><span style="FONT-FAMILY: " new??="" courier="">BARNSLEY boss Andy Ritchie missed out on signing Sheffield United defender Chris Luketti earlier this week after revealing the player turned down the chance to move to Oakwell on loan.</span><span style="FONT-FAMILY: " new??="" courier="">Andy has spent the last few days hoping to bring in quality additions to his squad without success and said this afternoon: &quot; We got very close to one player and were given permission to speak with him but he did not want to come out on loan at this time. <p class="MsoNormal" style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt"><span style="FONT-FAMILY: " new??="" courier="">&quot; We look at every player and every deal on their merits but sometimes it is just out of our budget. <p class="MsoNormal" style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt"><span style="FONT-FAMILY: " new??="" courier="">&quot; After Wednesday night I think we really need someone who can score goals but we also need someone with the experience to be there for 90 minutes&quot;. 3/11</span><span style="FONT-FAMILY: " new??="" courier=""> </span>

    Erm ... yes.

Lucas is much better than Letheren.
    Your point being?

Did you hold up your little finger whilst sipping the tea?
    I bet it wasn't Ty-phoo either.

    course not

It should have all been kept between the chairman, the manager and SM.

Course, we need a back up keeper

"I'll wait til Nick gets injured before bringing someone in."
Is Cadamateri under 28 yrs old? "Hi Danny, meet Danny. You can sit next to each other on the bench, hows that?"
BREAKING NEWS: Peter Thompson, the vastly experienced Irish part time footballer has bad game. Quote: "We're looking at other targets."

    Mmm.

Yesterday morning you were telling Gord how to do his job.
    Now it's Andy's turn.

I'd take Andy's judgement on a player over Gord's every day of the week & twice on Sundays.

I also may be proven very, very wrong ... but I think Kazim-Richards could have been a nightmare for us ... for Kazim-Richards read Leon Knight, allegedly.

Anyway - Nardy won't be warming the bench.
He'll be at home getting treatment for his 783rd injury of his unproven goalscoring career.

    Kinell fire.

    SM is psychic.
Mrs Ponty bought me a bloody Berghaus jacket a few weekends ago.
Unfortunately it's dark grey - but I could get it exchanged for a red one as it's unworn ... and might fecking stay that way.

As Jay said - I can't wait for the joint statement of intent from Ritchie, Gord & SM.

    To be honest ...

... I'd rather be covered in piss than wear a Berghaus jacket.

"But love, it'll keep you dry when we're out walking - 'cos it's made from Goretex".

    Really?
I go walking as often as I go fishing for ceiling fans.
And what the **** is Goretex? Sounds like some type of sheath.

    You'll find much more warmth

if you walk into Blah in your hoodie. the white one. as for me, I'm taking my fashion tips from elsewhere now. I've asked Santa for some seal slippers and a real fur coit.

We may have the same fashion guru ...

... as I've asked for a jacket made from a large number of hung dalmations.

    You Beardsley (in looks).
    Me Lineker.
