    Surely the cops must have enough evidence and witness statements now. How many people could possibly have tunnel backroom access. Two squads of 17 and half dozen backroom staff each side and no more than a dozen others surely including the likes of whitey etc. You can rule out 34 players more or less so why should we be a fortnight on and no further forward. Colombo would have had case cracked inside 90 minutes. Makes ya wonder if efl pfa and the fa have poked their snouts in and told cops to drag it out till end of season.

    He's been bailed until sometime in May, can't see anything more happening publicly till then...

    In previous instances, the FA have always said they will carry out their investigations/hearing after the Police have completed, including prosecution cases due to fear of affecting a case

    They bailed him until May. Rightly or wrongly, that allowed them to finish the season before progress.

    I would hope SYP have concluded, or at least nearly, their enquiries and have a case to progress

    Aye but sure as eggs is eggs, if a fan had run down the tunnel and done it, he would have been up before magistrates in a special Sunday sitting the day after, prior to being jailed for 15 years and banned from all grounds and referred to as 'scummy fan' in the media for the rest of his life.

    Not necessarily. Hes been arrested and released on bail. If hed been charged he'd have appeared in court by now to enter his plea.
