Apparently, overweight, squeeky voiced show pony Lee Trundle is about to sign for our REAL rivals Brizzle City. Joy unbounded.

Should he sign, the reception he'll get at Ninian Park on 22nd March (yes, I'm counting the days!) will best be described as "frosty". Put it this way, Bin Laden would be more popular on Times Square singing "where's your towers gone" at the top of his voice.

Think our chum may regret this as well:

He'll score more goals then Fowler tho :D

It'll be funny if he gets the abuse and then shuts the Ninian park faithful up by scoring a last minute winner.

I prefer the "f*ck off Promotion" flag

    This one?

Score more than Folwer - only if RF is injured ALL season. Ironicly, on BCFC sites, they've been taking the P over us signing Fowler saying they wouldn't want a fat scouser up front for them - and they go and sign Trundle :D

You can only imagine the dislike of Brizzle down here, unbelievable. For him to sign for them from the jerks, I pity him. Honestly think he'll bottle it and feign injury. IF he were to play and score a last minute winner, he'd be lynched. Literally. Sad, but true.

    Swansea Reject 4th Bid

Swansea City have rejected a new and improved bid for star striker Lee Trundle.Bristol City came in with a reported fourth bid for the Scouse striker yesterday, but this offer has been quickly rebuffed by the Liberty Stadium side.

Reports in the Western Daily Press claimed that this new bid for the 30-year-old had matched the Swans' valuation of the star striker.

"They have made an improved bid for Lee, that much is true," Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins said.

"But the report saying it has matched our valuation is not.

"We have rejected the bid and we are not encouraging any more offers for Lee."

Jenkins would not comment on the amount offered for the fans' favourite.

Although Trundle's performances were below his usual high standards last term, the 30-year-old maintained his 20 goals-a-season record for Swansea.

And his goals will be vital as Roberto Martinez's men look to make it third time lucky in their push for the Championship.

"We are trying to retain our best to push us into the Championship," Jenkins added.

"Nothing has changed on our part - we want to keep our best players."

With Bristol making this new bid for Swansea's talismanic striker, the Championship new boys could be trying to unsettle Trundle.

"It all depends on how Lee sees it," Jenkins said.

"We are just trying to look forward and concentrate on the new season."

Robins chairman Steve Lansdown said that he was awaiting news from the Ashton Gate side on the Trundle transfer saga as he was out of the country.

"I'm over in Canada at the moment and I'm waiting to hear from two of my executives to see if the matter has moved on," Lansdown told the Evening Post.

"We have made what we believe to be a very good offer for him.

"We have been in negotiations with Swansea for a few weeks now and we are making every effort we can to bring Lee to Bristol City.

"I do think, though, that we have reached a point now that it will either happen or it won't."

Cant argue with that last line

"I do think, though, that we have reached a point now that it will either happen or it won't."

I predict that what he says there will come true

    Other than..

...he may be playing his cards close to his chest there. They obviously want him, have made offers and, at the end of the day, money talks with mercenary footballers.

Rumour down here is that Bungle has been offered £4k/week more in Brizzle than he's on at the jerks & is about to hand in a transfer request.

I'm pretty sure he's in the last year of his contract, but at £1m or thereabouts it's way overvalued and swansea should bite their hands off.
