Lets all go to wembley but not oakwell I bet most of the people are just going to wembley an then carnt be arsed to go down to oakwell and try and cheer them on to keep them in the championship
I'm not **** I once travelled from Oslo by train to see us get beat 2-0 at Brentford. Had a guy sent off too. What a waste of money.
I'm a great... ...part time fan, I mean, nowadays like. I wasn't part time once, I fact i was as regular as a beer drinkers morning dump - but that don't count. If your not regular now then your part-time, a glory boy, a pot hunter. 500ish games between 1960 and 1970 means nowt, still a part time wannabe me. These young f*cks that are part of the 10000 faithful these days want to try and think on what it was like to be part of the 1970's 5000 faithful, standing on the slag heap (quote Blade) during a snowy, wet 0-0 draw against Rochdale in mid-January. When it comes to getting a Semi-Final ticket, my conscience is not only clear but will delight in thumbing its nose in the general direction of the young turks that now occupy the seedier. racist chapters of the Ponty End. F*ck em, with very large knobs on. Nice post Gaz mate.
RE: I'm a great... With yer there Dave.
Some kid had a pop at me today asking if I were at Plymouth t'other neet.
Didn't tell him I were going to Torquay, Bristol Rovers, Leyton Orient, Barrow, Workington etc when his dad wor probably in short pants. Not to mention Southport, Bradford Park Avenue, Rochdale and countless others that wouldn't count cos they weren't hundreds o' miles away.
I did mention Rhyl - but then he started it!

RE: I'm a great... As far as I'm concerned, we're all Barnsley fans. It doesn't matter how many games you may have been to this season, I bet you've still been looking for the scores elsewhere! Let's turn Wembley way red and help the players secure an FA Cup Final appearance!
I'm with yer too We can all go to which matches we want, depending on finance etc. Where does it say you must go to every match to be a true fan? We have a small number of fans overseas (in Norway for example http://www.barnsleyfc.no/In English.html) who probably for obvious reasons rarely get to Oakwell. I'm glad we have them and I'm sure we have picked up some more after our cup run. I myself lived in Germany for a while and went to games when I was back over here. Over there I sat glued to the PC with 2 monitors with an assortment of live tables, vidiprinters, commentary, reports you name it. I never stopped supporting the reds even when I left. Having said all that I think it is criminal if just one fan (ST or not) misses out on Wembley. Good luck to all of you who have not yet got a ticket.
RE: I'm a great... Hit the nail on the head wi a fookin great hammer there kid!
What we need at Wembley is a great big, ginormous fook-off crowd all screaming their tits off for the Tarn.
You ain't gonna get that if just us regulars turn up. There's plenty of tickets for everybody and we need to sell every last one.
I don't care if you've been to one game or a thousand - if you're supporting the Reds you'll do for me!

RE: I'm a great... Yes Sharpy lad, Rhyl - now that's a bugger. Didn't get to that one but I did convince my Dad it were a Fairs Cup competition game cos they wern't int football league. Marine away. What would they have made of that result on the BBS today? Davey out? Mild to say the least.
Re: All our fans are sh*t. Apart from me. nt Dead right. I'd trade ****'s support for any 10 of the f*ckwits that invaded the pitch after the Chelsea game. and the internet out of Saudi Arabia in the early 1990's was not best served for delivering what they can do now.
