http://www.leaguemanagers.com/ Look at that site and tell us from the managers available who would be good for the club, realisticly.
I refer the Right Honourable Gentleman to the answer I gave earlier http://www.barnsleyfc.org.uk/bbs/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=132974&mid=884428#M884428 For what it's worth, I don't believe Simon Davey will be sacked. But that certainly doesn't mean that he's the best man for the job.
Paul Ince is the most likely choice as he is a hungry young manager, desperate to get into a job. And the whole "black manager" stuff will give us abit of publicity. Im sure he will have various contacts aswell.
As I said, mate I don't think Simon Davey will be sacked at the moment. But I do think his position will be reviewed at the end of the season.
RE: As I said, mate I reckon he'll lose his job before the end of the season, but only after we're as good as down. That'll give the new man time to assess the playing staff for life in League 1.
I think he'll be the 3rd Barnsley manager to get sack... after a ( hopefully not ) defeat at Wendies Remember Parkin and Spackman
I know he wont get sacked. He probs wont get the sack if we lose on tues either. Cryne has too much faith in him.
I disagree, if we lost next two games then the crowd will all be singing 'we want Davey out' and I think Cryne would definately act.
For a club of our size the fans are the life-blood and at some point Cryne has to listen to us. He cannot keep faith in such a poor manager for too much longer and hopefully should we lose on Tuesday Davey will be gone. If he is sacked I'd willingly take Ince.
RE: As I said, mate it wont be reviewed next season and Oddjob wont go!! reason why is, they would both be good in a divisionlower, and we could easy be there!!!
