No better or worse than now. Sacking another manager (whoever it was) has put us 12 months further back.

We would have struggled to stay up under Wilson players had lost confidence in him as well as supporters needed to go couldn't keep us up in championship (which in fairness was a big ask) couldn't challenge for promotion (was more relegation fight)

Do you think a team that lose at home to Shrewsbury will be nearer relegation or promotion?

    Straight question. No prevarication.

Same as the one who lost at home to Crawley and Notts County under Wilson. Where are they now? Just admit it Wilson was **** second time round

    Not answering the question then?

For the record I didn't want Wilson appointed and didn't want him sacked. I didn't want Johnson appointed and don't want him sacked.

Fewer points. Worse results against the same teams. Progress?

a few? fk me he's lost most not a few, nowt to do with Wilson sympathies more to do with general disillusionment about the fortunes of our club. That's not advocating change, we can't keep doing that, but personally I think more and more people are wondering what LJ's apparent good rep is built on.

I don't think keep on sacking is the answer Lee Jay has to learn the mistakes and fast but people bringing up/comparing to Wilson is no good either he was no better.

I'd agree no better or worse but sacking him cost the club a lot of money and we are going backwards not forwards pretty much writing another season off to 'gelling'.

Wilson is a legend and I was furious when the club sacked him. So far the jury is out on LJ, I'm not overly impressed at this point but that doesn't mean I don't support him and it doesn't mean I want him sacked.

Wilson was (and is still) a legend for what happened in 1997. I wasn't impressed 2nd time round. And I'm not with Lee Jay so far either but am prepared to give him until end of season

    His record at Oldham was:

    Won 36

    Drew 32

    Lost 35

Giving him a win percentage just under 35%.

    So far for us:

    Won 8

    Drawn 8

    Lost 7

A win percentage of just under 35%.

It's *****, isn't it? Now I've actually took my Preedy glasses off and had a look, it's *****. And in the third division. Nothing a good 5 or 6 match winning run won't fix, but looking at his brief managerial career, it seems it's anybody's guess whether his side will win, lose or draw. I'm assuming the board selected him not based on those figures, but on his philosophy.

What I've come to realise is that keeping a side in the top half of league one isn't all that hard even on a low budget.

Let's be right, there were 4 decent teams in the league last season, Bristol, MK Dons, Swindon & Preston, the rest were all average / poor & nothing much in them.

All it takes is a bit of luck injury / recruitment wise & you can get them 10-15 points extra a season that keeps you away from the drop.
