All these Odejayi haters

Everyone seems to jump on his back after a poor display, yet nothing ever really gets said about Ferenczi nor Nardiello.

Everyone mentions Ferenczi's great work effort, you have to be joking me. He's almost as idle as Nardiello, brings **** all to the party, doesn't win anything in the air, has no pace, only scores tap ins and is generally a very very poor player.

As for Nardiello, don't get me started. Never rated him, worst move of the season bringing him back.

So as for Odejayi, he's not great, but put him upfront everygame as far as I'm concerned.

Yesterday Odejayi was 10 times worse than Nardiello was last Saturday.
I dont think Nardiello is up to it but I would have to say he is a better footballer than Odejayi will ever be.
He is a fast runner and looks like he should be a handful for every defender in the league, but he has been garbage for most of the season, 3 games a year doent make him any good.

 

Give odejayi another chance this upcoming season, Nardiello i couldnt give a toss if he doesnt sign for us again hes no good, Ferenczi does put the effort in but into fouling think we should get rid this summer and start a fresh with odejayi and macken and also try n recoup 100k from mossto

While a 20 a year man would be nice i think most on here would settle for a front man that scored 10 and lets be honest the only way oddjob will get 10 a season is if there were 200 games a season, the kids runs about alot but can't score and therefore shouldn't be a front man. As for Stan and Nards ok Stand hasn't looked a patch on last year and Nards imo hasn't been given a decent run in the team he has started about 8 games and come on as sub maybe another 5 or 6 (i am sure someone will correct me) and has scored 1 goal for us now for our strikers this year that is probably the second best strike after Macken but of course i could be wrong with the figure and everyone else could be right he could be a pile of **** and oddjob be the second coming.

When he puts a bit of effort in he is an excellent finisher and has quite bit of skill - Leeds away for example

You must read a different board mate. He always gets it. Rightly so too. He's ****. Pretty much like every other forward we've got. Admittedly, Nads seems to have more people defending him than the others, but that's 'cos he scored a good goal a couple of years ago.

Agree about Ferenczi and Nardiello. Absolute bobbins. As for KO, I think he is worth hanging onto. For chasing the ball down and doing the hard work he is a decent enough player. Maybe not to play every week but a definite squad player. His ability on the ball is what makes him only a squad player. If he was small and slow he wouldn't even be a professional footballer because his technical ability is average at best. In an ideal world we will be offloading the lot of them (except Macken) and getting 3 others in. Priority this season is the forwards. SD has got to get it right this summer. We wont escape next season without a striker who can get 10-15.

 

I will add to that though

by saying Macken could be that goalscorer given a full season.

Its a bit strong to say that people hate him

Hes just not very good. A striker but without goals if you like. But yes youre right Stan and Nardiello arent much better.

Questions also have to be asked of the midfield as well. How may times do our strikers get put through on goal? Very rarely. Mostto was slated and eventually shipped back to South America but ive lost count of how many times he slipped his marker but wasnt passed to.
