we have no need to sign a left footed left back, kozzie is a class above most in this league right footed or not, a replaced would be a waste of money, there are no better players availablewho we can afford or who would consider coming to barnsley!! i think the money should be spent on finding a left sided midfielder, that should be a huge priority, we need some with a leg peg on the left wing, then jcr can play down the right and do what he does best, go past his man instead of havin to cut inside,

    just my opnion

If Kozluk's fit, fine, I agree he's very good at left back. But seeing El Haimour at left back on Saturday - well, he can't really tackle, he was a weak link in that position. We need some proper cover there. Who's left back in the reserves? Can Rob Atkinson play there in an emergency?

No, Kozluk is not a class above and we need a left back to make Kozluk fight for the position.

We need a LB to give Koz competition. I think Koz is as good a LB as we can attract so anybody who comes in will have to be decent to dislodge him from the first 11. But we desperately need cover. No-one else in the squad can play there and it is not the sort of position you can just 'fill in', as we saw on Sat. A mistake in midfield is coverable but a weak link in defence is dodgy ground. Ideally we can find somebody who is a LB but comfortable playing further forward too. It would also be nice to have a left foot delivering crosses from that side. El Haimour isn't a defender and is struggling as a midfielder at this level.

His profile on websites maybe say he can, but he can't. I haven't seen anything in him to suggest he could play full back. A good CB but not a LB.

    No I dont agree

Kozzie is a good left back and if he could play 46 matches a season then you might have a point but
He misses quite a few games through injury and suspension and we have no one who can cover that position even remotely well enough

El Hamour was embarassing on Saturday - Hassel Souza and Van Homoet have all tried and look like fish out of water. All other positions at the back and midfield we have options but none for LB - we need cover - Ideally someone who could also play on the left in midfield as well as FB would be perfect
