Is pissing me right off. Nothing but specualtion all the way. The close season is an agent's christmas morning. They bang their players names about to get them noticed. As if Birmingham City want Chopra FFS!!

I personally think we have a good chance of getting Chops and IF we do I also think that would be enough to make Macca sign up too.

Seeing as Peter Taylor has been linked with the Palace job then no doubt McPhail will be having a medical there too!

Until I see them with the scarf of their choice above their heads with their new gaffer by their side then I dont believe a word of it. Two words - STEVEN GERRARD.

One lad I'd bring in would be JP McGovern.

Because Heskey Forsell and Campbell are better than him.

McPhail will shine in a better division. He's no good in the lower leagues as crappy oppo players just want to kick him about. If he does the season with us next year he'll get Player of the Year without doubt.

What is really depressing is the speed with which promotion euphoria turns into despondency. If Chopra and McPhail end up elsewhere then so be it. We'll sign alternatives who may end up being just as good or even better. Speaking personally, McPhail has been a joy to watch, but the fact is football is a fickle industry where players' only loyalty is, quite rightly, to themselves.

It is possible that 2 out of those 3 might not be at Birmingham much longer due to their Premiership wages, also Campbell must be 36 or 37 surely.

I think Chopra is a better team player than DJ Campbell anyway.

    Spot on..

I think we need to wait and see what develops.

I would rather have the cautious approach and stability that we have than face looking over the precipice that we had with administration.

It appears that certain individuals involved in football have made a lot of money from spending others wonga and then leaving the carnage behind for someone else to bail out. Cardiff good luck to them because I think they will need it, because it is a clamity waiting to happen. I have no doubt that certain individuals will then find a new club to live out his spending fantasys at.

I am not blaming the players because I would assume that 99% of the people on this site don't work for the company they do because of altruism or loyalty but because of remuneration or job satisfaction. If they choose to leave a loving relationship for a smooth talking white haired lothario who showers them with gifts all paid for by credit. Thats the choice they have to make. I have no doubt that hearts will be broken in the near future. The people who will pay will be the people of South Wales not South yorkshire.
