I understand the fans moaning about the recent games and the performances from the players and management team, BUT I live in Colorado now and watch worse teams than the Championship could ever have. But the fans get behind the players win, lose or draw, and they talk about how close the game was and about the missed chances and only boo the ref (yes we get **** refs here too) I watched my first Barnsley game in 1977 and my last one in April (QPR), and can honestly say that I have booed the team once in that time, a 3-0 home defeat by Colchester under Davey. The football or "Soccer" is so bad here that Caleb Folan gets in the local squad, so please remember how bad it was, the duldrums of the 70's in the bottom 3 of the old 4th division, not just the highs of the Premier League or appearances in Cardiff or Wembly. I know there are fans here that have been watching them longer than I have, but I still remember the bad times too and always think how great it is to be one division away from the Premier League instead of one away from NON-LEAGUE. We are not a great club in stature but we are a great club in our hearts. Just my thoughts Dave
