All season we have NOT had 2 central defenders that have played side by side week in week out.
To add to this we haven't got a substitute centre half
So what has happened - we have played midfielders (kay) and full backs (Austin and Hassel) in these positions
As a result these lads have come in for some stick because they are chopping and changing positions throughout the season.
These players have not suddenly become bad players !!!
Its the management and directors that have to hold there hands up here and take responsibilty for the fact that we have 2 central defender (carbon especially) that are injury prone and we haven't any replacements at the club.
I'll say it again (sorry if you have heard me say this before, but I have been saying this since the before the start of the season) WE NEED TWO EXPEREINCED CENTRE HALVES AT THE CLUB.
Reid and Carbon can sit the games out on the bench if they are fit
    :( :( :( :( :( :(

not that simply though is it, if this is all we have available then thats all we can do!

its not like ritchie re-sign the injury prone carbon is it? therefore you can hardly blame him for been out injured and to be honest up until a few weeks ago we had the best defensive record in the league so i agree we have suffered from not playing a consistent pair of center backs but when we have it shows they are up to scratch!

plus i see Kay as a center back!

We need one central defender... because paul reid is a complete warrior. reminds me of DeZeeuw. plus, hes an ever present- except from the suspensions for yellow cards.
