If you can't see we're playing better then last season you need to stop watching football because thy ant a clue about it
Are we playing better though? We are now playing easier teams and gone to one of the best budgets in the league and yet we find wins and clean sheets both hard to come by.
Some of the games have been on a par with last season to be fair. I think we have seen progress from the start of the season but not progress to how we finished last season but thats down to personel. The players are beginning to get to know each other, we have had a good spell but now the opponents have worked us out so once again we have to start out with a new outlook on games also injuries/suspensions dont help but they dont help every season. Progressing slowly is fine.
A tongue in cheek on when we were *****. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=TW7c8vXnk3Q Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
The best performance was the second home game of the season. The worst two were the last two. That doesn't constitute progress in my book.
Last season we played teams bigger than us, had one of the worst budgets and went down. This season the majority of the teams are smaller than us, we have one of the best budgets and yet we are still nearer the relegation zone. No progress has been made at all and as dependent on loans as ever. We have few who know how to win including a keeper with a relegation mentality and a club captain with multiple relegations under him.
We are more entertaining have goals all over the pitch and, for the most part, matching us has been vaguely pleasureable. I don't dread Saturday's anymore I look forward to them. We have young interested players who want to play for us rather than old lags who couldn't give a toss. Progress demonstrated.
Treacy and Lita 2 old lags there who couldn`t give a toss or they would have fought there way into the team before now. Probably arrived here with some semblance of fitness.
We will we aren't Real Madrid or the Wednesday Massives. When your house has been set on fire and burnt to the ground you don't knock a replacement up in a weekend. You lay the foundations and go from there. We are integrated our youth team players into the first team which is a must and have improved our use of the transfer market which is a first step. We need to start moving forwards through the second half of the season into next. It's not gonna be a 5 minute job.
