Christ, he's been here what, a couple of seasons, took us up to the league we are in now, and has got us playing attractive football for the first time in years. The last thing this club needs is another manager considering all the changes we've had in recent seasons. Finally things are looking up at Oakwell, both financially and on the pitch, and we're only in October and people are saying he should go. 'Kin hell fire! I think the year in the prem spoiled a lot of fans who after watching pretty average second division crap for an age, got a season mixing it with the misters (and doing quite well on some occasions) and began to demand that type of success from that point on. The fact is that we are only a relatively small club, and we can't expect or demand that type of success to be given to us on a plate - it's a slow process.... and we are now heading in the right direction - might need a player or two obviously - but just give it a chance.

So today, brilliant performance, played them off the park, missed a couple we should have put away but, we were just unlucky. If we keep playing like that and sort the discipline out, next season we will be aiming a bit higher than mid-table.

And that's all I've got to say about that.

    What 'Ritchie Out' nonsense?

There has only been Dreamboy having a pop at Ritchie.... and he doesn't count.

Why would we want to change Ritchie?? He is the man who got us to the Championship and he derserves the chance to try and keep us here.... It's going to be tough but i think he will succeed

i would be much more concerned if we were playing badly though - the only way we will go down is if we have a few injuries, which is a big worry

Maybe, but they still got the three points.

That is why I am so heartbroken.
We played them off the pitch and we ended up with nothing.
    Why?

Sorry that's not what I meant to say, I just think that there's a bit too much negativity going around and if things don't 'improve' after 2, 3, 4 games, then there will be people calling for him to go. I think some people get disheartened too easily too early, and I also think there are some who plain just don't like him.

Bloke sat behind me this aft

    They scored and he starts....
"feckin Ritchie feckin ****** he won't buy anyone in we need this we need that we need the feckin other...."
So i bit my lip.As did the rest of us.
But i felt like saying "**** OFF!Remember when we got relegated nd we had a team full of lazy Barstewards, our main striker was lazy lovely person Sheron and none of the players gave a ****?"

fact is that you can see the team spirit is back, they would all kill their mothers for this club, and anyone with an ounce of knowledge knows that good luck is like bad luck,it doesn't last forever. We just need to keep on doing what were doing and the goals will come.Unlike that big club darn t'road.they seem to think that just because they fluked a win against 10 men that they are on the upwards n onwards :pff

We do have a paper thin squad

    We d0 need re-inforcements.

Fair do's Tina but look at the big picture. We got into this division on the same paper thin squad via the back door and when you look at the overall performances,Norwich excepted, those lads have done more than rise to the occasion(how gay does that sound?)
The only reason we are are just outside the relegation zone is down to sheer bad luck.We have scored in almost every match and should have scored more but for some outstanding goalkeeping.Like i said earlier, bad luck is like good luck,it never lasts.Keep the faith.

I agree with all you have said

Ritchie and Holden take care of them so well, hence Reid not featuring.
I know what we have to go on and please don't think I'm criticizing but ,I fear, any shake up of otr first 11 throughh injuries or suspensions and we are in trouble

Get your point. But whats the odds on us losin more than 2 or 3 of the startin 11?
We'll be ok.What limited cover we do have is more than capable of shoring up the squad to make sure we don't lose.I think(dunno)
    that wines kicking in(raiseaglass)
