Clearly, but for his love of the club he would be out.... if it were any other business proposition that is.... but it isn't & he is obviously aware that he is the only man (currently) to help us. That in itself is a viscious circle ... the fact he can't get out applies more pressure & on it goes. Seems to me he doesn't want the pressure of making decisions (e.g. hiring & firing managers) and who can blame him? So it begs the question, what can be done? Suerly someone at the club has the responsibility to get out there & find support... even if it is not financial, something to take off the pressure & get PC back to watching football if that's what he wants. The lack of a committee cant help.... who has the club approached? Are we just looking for people with money? What about local businessmen/women who can bring expertise in certain areas to the Board?? Couldn't the supporters trust take a more operational role in the club? Don't worry guys I know you're all volunteers, but the fans are the basis of this club, and there are people out there who would willingly volunteer professional services. For example the annual debate we have about replica kits ... there are enough people on here with opinions/ contacts/ business dealings to find a deal that suits the club & keeps supporters consulted & happy. Would it really be that difficult for a working group led by the Supporters Trust & the Club marketing dept, to head this up for next season (2010)? I don't have all the answers, but clearly something needs to be done because the mutterings that are coming out of Oakwell are alarming to say the least
