    But the main difference is length of contract...with Davies tied to a 3 year deal...

    But then Davies could have 15-20 by the end of the season even though he's missed three months of the season through injury and had to get used to playing two leagues higher than he's used to. So next summer he would have only 12 months left on his contract and clubs will come sniffing. We need to be looking at giving him a 12 month extension asap.

    its Luke Steele we need to secure long term

    I do not know how long his contract is...but that man is arguably more important than Jacob Butterfield
