All this talk about managers

Just wondering if the board will be looking at managers at/tied at other clubs,compensation to then pay or managers who are unattached and free to talk to Barnsley.

Myself would like to see a manager who has some experience as we need to stay in this league,build on this and go forward not backward would be interested in what others thinks but which looks likely compo pay out or not?
