And I see no talk of new players; especially, new defenders. The combined age of our back four on Saturday was probably around 100 years old. They've a wealth of experience between them, and yet, they can't do the basics correctly. So, what's a new manager going to do with them? The back four is bobbins, and quite frankly, not good enough. It's been the same old **** for the last couple of seasons: Basic, basic errors. Schoolboy stuff. I'd hazard a guess that you wouldn't see some of that defending on a Sunday morning across Barnsley. Oh, and look, the transfer window closes tomorrow... Darn.
I agree; there is som emergency surgery needed if the last few home games are anything to go by but who is going to bring players in? I suspect that when the new manager arrives he will be scouring the loan market for players to strengthen. Only Davey was so blind he couldnt see what was staring him in the face.
Exactly. And between them, they couldn't do what children around the age of 9 are taught to do. Basic stuff.
