Howard certainly isnt the "fat, idle" player that Swindon fans told us to expect.

Hes been excellent for us since we signed him, has made and scored goals and is one of the better attacking midfielders from the Championship downwards.

Realistically though, is he premiership quality? Im not sure if he could hold a regular place down at Everton If they signed him.

Its not long ago that I asked the question - Is he developing into a Barnsley legend along side the likes of Glavin, Banks, Redfearn and Hignett? and one or two thought he wasnt in the same league.

    Premiership quality or not?

The same scenario as Michael Brown when at the Blunts.......

superb displays at Championship level, given the chance at Premiership level never really paid off.

Browns still a premiership player even though he didnt make it at Spurs. I saw he was playing against Man Utd yesterday for Wigan. His bank balance would tell your youre wrong mate. lol

    Or Fulham and doubtful Wigan.

He is one of those players who will hang around the bottom 6 teams in the Prem.

There are a lot of players who hang around at the bottom of the Premier League.

Thats why Id rather see Howard shine for us than be another player in a struggling prem team. Sadly for us fans of small clubs money talks in football and we get the raw deal.
