Why have Bristol cheated. All they've had is a stroke of luck, if we got a penalty, you wouldn't expect us to miss it on purpose or concede one ourselves to even the game up.

The officials are at fault for making another hideous blunder, the only way you could say that Bristol cheated is if they paid off the referee or his officials, and somehow i just can't see that being the case.

It couldn't have happened to a better manager anyway than Neil Warnock (except from Slackwell of course)

it's like the spurs non goal at man utd - i suppose the 'cheating' bit is the keeper not admitting it to the ref. It's the ref's call at the end of the day and how many players get decisions in their favour that they know they shouldn't have, or worse con the ref for a decision (and we see that often enough)

    On the other hand ....

I was trying to work out what the Brizzle City players were trying to say to ref and linesmen. If they realised that the officials were making a mistake in their favour and were trying to argue that the ball had not crossed the line, that would constitute cheating. I couldn't tell what they were doing, but it didn't look as though they were saying, "Referee, my good chap, you have made an error of judgement there and we regret to inform you that the ball had crossed our goal-line!"

Bring back Kevin Betsy - I recall the Colchester defender being sent off for fouling him as the last defender. Betsy got straight up and told the ref that White never touched him and he caught his studs in the turf. Betsy bothered to travel to White's appeal hearing and he had the red card rescinded. Now that's sportsmanship for you!

I agree. Furthermore even if all the Bristol City players had gone to the ref and said "hey ref you blind Barsteward that’s was a goal, it hit the back of the net and came back out" he couldn’t have given it if he genuinely didn’t see it. I am staggered that only 4 people in the ground didn’t see it - sounds very much like closing ranks and lying through their fecking teeth to me.
    Completely inept /poo /poo
