    Absolutely pissing myself laughing.

Hassell and Leon - the weakest midfield pairing in the football league.

    We need them both..

they both bring different qualities to the game. Thought Leon, did played well in first half, as all of the team did. However, they couldn't get to grips with Hull as they stepped it up. That's were Howard comes into his own. He takes the ball to them, finds spaces etc. etc.

    Leon Looked very lightweight

went missing too often and looks lost when Barnsley dont have the ball.
I have read some crap on the BBS , but how anyone can say we dont need Howard cos we have Leon, it beggars belief.

He did'nt drop back for ball, he ran away from hassell and JCR playing the ball from the back when he can't see a pass to save his life.
Lets hope Howard is back on Saturday head and shoulder above most of the team.

We were very pedestrian at getting the ball forward and had no width whatsoever. It worked for the away games but back to 4-4-2 now please.

    RE: Leon Looked very lightweight

in the first half he could rely upon one of the central three would step out of the defence to provide the ariel cover in the midfield meant both he and JCR could play nice intricate football between them, also meant the width could be given by Kozzie and Van Hommet. Second half the central defenders had to cope with Folan and Campbell and therefore couldn't push into midfield. It meant they could pass around the small central pairing and also the quick ball movement in centre midfield stopped. I feel Leon and Da Silva would be a good pairing but I think we need Howard to recover very quickly as he's missed !!! (and very undervalued by some !!!!!)

    Wasn't meaning the same 4-4-2.

The return of Howard with JCR & Devaney on the wings is more what I was thinking.
