Lets just say i recently moved to Barnsley and had never attended a Barnsley Match before But i wanted to go on Saturday Obviously i have no booking history so how much i get a ticket ? Could i go down to oakwell and take my ID and register or not
Bored Shitless at work haha Genuine question though Its not a dig at the club i just dont know how it works
If you were buying one should be fine. If walked in in hooligan clobber asking for 20 there could be a few questions.
If you always roll up on the day and pay at the turnstiles you won't have a booking history (for post Wembley 2008 fans). We lose that off-the-cuff or peripheral supporter on occasions like this. Some don't know until the last minute if they can go and others can't be bothered to jump through hoops. There will also be those who simply don't know it's all ticket. My dad said he's only heard that it's all ticket from me. I think the club could do more to promote than rely on social media, marketing emails and word of mouth. They seem to assume that everyone's actively involved on the internet.
If your id showed your address to be in Barnsley then I doubt there'd be an issue, if it showed it to be in Sheffield they might not sell you one.
Go with someone on data base to get your ticket I.e bought ticket through the box office or season ticket holder to validate you as a Barnsley fan you will then be on data base for future games note this is only a dress rehearsal for wembley final
I was in about an hour ago, bloke in front of me sounded like he had no history on their system, went through his address but didn't see him show any proof of this.
How folk haven't picked up its 12:15 is pretty baffling. Do these folk see fixtures in June and never look again? What about Rochdale kick off?
posters all over town advertising the game is local and all ticket? not a piss take answer because i have seen things like this in other towns when a match is advertised everywhere
So if three generations of Y Gochs drive from Aberystwyth in the hope of getting in on the gate (as planned) we are stuffed
