All time low

Discussion in 'Bulletin Board ARCHIVE' started by Greenhill Red, Nov 7, 2015.

  1. I have been a red fan all my life and at the age of 41 I have seen some highs and lows. However I have to say that at the moment this is the lowest I have felt in all that time. I actually thought when appointed LJ would be good for Barnsley. He seemed to me to be just what we needed, a young energetic manager. However the man clearly has no idea what he is doing. He has to go. If I or anyone else for that matter performed so badly in our jobs we would be out on our ear. He and the other powers that be are taking the life out of the club that I love. It has got so bad that I have lost all motivativation to go to any game and I have never felt like that before. Please please please get rid of this guy now before our club and the careers of several talented young players are ruined forever.

It was a strange appointment when we gave him the job and I didn't see anything last season to change my mind, unfortunately this season is no big surprise to me. LJ has to go.

I'm too low to post owt deep and meaningful.

I'll always support the eleven blokes who run out and play football under the moniker of Barnsley FC, it's in my heart, always has been and always will be, but for the corporation and collection of cronies which purport to run and manage the club, contempt is all I can muster.

I understand and agree with the argument played out by the more eloquent Johnson supporters on here about sticking with a manager for once but he is not the right man to stick with, never has been and never will be. He is a nothing nobody in football management terms and needs putting out of our misery.

Strange is one word for it. My theory as to what actually happened is

    1. PC directed the board to sack DW because he was an argumentative tw*t who made his feelings known about the recruitment policy.

    2. The club then tried in vain to appoint a proper manager but nobody would touch us with a shitty stick.

    3. BM then said "well I know a player who now manages, I could try him. He'll go along with whatever we say"

    4. The club then appoint LJ and pretend to the media that they have been tracking this brilliant young manager for yonks and we are f*cking lucky to have him. This is going to be ace.

    5. They quietly give him the title of head coach and hope no one notices.
