All Very Quiet On the Transfer Front

    I am still optimistic we will end up with 5 or 6 though.

    I think the main reason it's quiet is that those who seem to know most about what's happening either have not enough time to keep updating or have been hassled too much on here so can't be bothered with posting updates any more at all.

    I'm pretty sure they're all working overtime at Oakwell until Wednesday night.

    It won’t be quiet but I’m definitely keeping out of it.

    Darfield said he was giving updates although he gave us a dud with Williams recalled by the sounds.

    Last time I updated the named targets were Mahoney, Knasmullner and Eastwood.

    We were also hoping to get a loan striker in with tabs on Fletcher and Mcburnie.

    I do not have a clue what’s going on with the defensive situation as I have not asked.

    I also don’t know if we’ll go in for another winger as we were after both Manzala and Mahoney/Kaikai at the time.

    Sit back and trust the club is all we can do.

    Thankfully, unlike many other clubs, we don't have a game on Tuesday. So we should be able to focus on bringing new players in between now and Wednesday.

    I'd just watch this space with Williams pal, it didn't come from my usual place but the club are actively looking for another defensive midfielder. Still think there's alot to this one.

    Plenty going off behind the scenes though. It was abit quiet at the time manzala rejected us but it seems the deals that went a little quiet earlier inn the season have sparked back into life.

    I think we'll do well in this window now, I was a little worried the other day but things change so quickly.

    Chris might be better off answering this one mate. He's got a very good source. I thought mine was decent but he tends to find out alot more.

    There will be a loan coming in pal, probably today. Possibly 2 if we are EXTREMELY lucky but that one will get done late Wednesday if it's possible. I don't think it'll happen but you never know.

    No bother mate. They're working very hard, lots of irons in the fire. I'm confident we will fetch 4 in. Maybe 5 if Boro are willing to let Fletcher go out on loan but that'll not be while the very last minute.
