the management team was wanting to get loan players (plural) in. We had just let Edwards and Collins go out on loan (i assume to free up some funds) Do i take it the club this season has had no contingency plans for incoming loan players?
Listen to the interviews, Hill has said it enough times. It's a case of being able to afford the right player, the club agreeing to loan him out and, crucially, the player wanting to come to us. Line up those three factors and you have a deal. I can not see what part a potential takeover would play in the loan market situation. If Hill is allowed to pursue loan deals he obviously has a certain financial go-ahead. Also, the possibility of a takeover would offer clubs the opportunity to line up possible transfers of players they are looking to move on. It is more likely deals are being hindered by our appalling injury record.
