Seen enough over last two days - Glastonbury is a joke , rip off etc Stones - more backing singers n musicians than there is crowd - great hype , end
Fair play, they're all knocking on and are amazing, but when your lead singer (understandably) starts to lose his vocals it loses a lot.
for their age yes, and theres a lot of people there that seem to be enjoying it .Theres been a lot younger acts thats been a lot worse
If you are there you have to believe the hype and justify your 400 quid Only my opinion Hope you are enjoying it.
Yes I do actually and that's just from the TV I bet if you are actually there it's fantastic. Just my opinion obviously
I'm struggling to decide which was worse, McCartney at the Olympic opening ceremony or the Stones tonight. Maybe I'm being harsh given their age, and I like their music, but they sound appalling.
It reminds me of when I went to see James Brown at a Foo Fighters gig. I couldn't wait. He was absolutely ******* awful. There is a time to get old gracefully and stop fleecing the public. tbf the stones have been doing it for years. When they did the Superbowl half time gig the other year they were horrific.
seriously! this is one of the biggest bands that this country has EVER produced! yes they are knocking on, but they can still belt out some classic hits and great tunes! id like to see some of you lot at 70, see if you can bloody walk let alone play in front of 80,000 yes they aren't at their best, but they're at their best for their age. and people should be lucky to see such an iconic band before they stop making music for good!
It is quite amusing that people know they are now very poor and fleecing the public but for some reason cannot admit it
Not disagreeing with that. If Ronnie Galvin was still turning out for the Reds though at 56 and you were paying 30 quid to watch I'm sure you'd say the same. Nobody is saying they have always been wnak. They just are now. I want to listen to them on CDs now.
I thought they were pretty weak compared to arctic monkeys last night. Think Glastonbury is brilliant value for money to be fair.
