    What do people make of this? Didn't Cudicini talk about English citizenship as well?</p>

    I spose plenty of other countries have done it....Brazilian born Deco playing for Portugal as one main example</p>

    Eduardo at Arsenal is another, Croatian international but is Brazilian.


    Surely he can only apply for British citizenship, which will then make him eligible for all the home nations.

    I suppose if they have citizenship then they are eligible, so fine.

    Its a bit like Barnsley the only way for good English players is from youth systems, and not greedy average ones in Barnsleys case.
