South Wales Police said the bodies were taken from the water near the end of the Taff Embankment, near the Millennium Stadium. </p> The discovery of the bodies, said to be those of men aged about 30, was made at about 1440 BST on Tuesday. </p> A police spokesman said it was too early in their investigation to say whether the deaths were suspicious. </p> The bodies have been taken to the University Hospital of Wales. Post-mortem examinations will be carried out. </p> Inspector Tony Bishop said: "Shortly before 3pm this afternoon South Wales Police were informed of two bodies in the water. </p> "Police attended within a matter of minutes and recovered the bodies of two males, both about 30 years of age. </p> "Inquiries are ongoing to establish how the bodies came to be there. </p> "It is too early to say whether the deaths are connected or if they knew each other but they were both of similar age and were dressed similarly." </p> A police cordon set up at the scene was removed by about 1630 BST. </p> The bodies were found close to the Millennium Stadium, directly opposite the SA Brain brewery. </p></font></td></tr></tbody></table></p>
