Alright, I'm not happy, but it's something I've got to do. Congratulations Barnsley Football Club. You pulled off something special. We've got some serious issues at our club and you've taken great advantage and you deserve full credit. Well done.
cheers Mate a lot of your fans were applauding us at the end, well them that hadnt gone out early and missed the winner
Thanks for that mate Must have made for pretty horrible viewing, but credit for coming on and saying that.
Best of luck for the rest of the season, and hope things improve

I've never seen the ground empty so quickly after your winner. The sad thing- for me, anyway- is that you could sense it. We had you penned in but you were creating consistently on the counter-attack. That defence we had out today broke records two seasons ago- 10 clean sheets on the bounce, lowest amount we'd conceded in the league since the Premiership began- but it's massively outdated. Riise is in terrible form, Finnan is incredibly slow and Hyypia and Carragher aren't suited to playing such a high line. The black lad you had out on the wing was causing all sort of problems and- full credit to you- you pushed men forward in search of the win. You showed a lot more ambition than the majority of Premiership sides that come to Anfield.
Takes something to come back on here So well done on that. And again, apologies for my comment the other day.
I said jokingly in the week that we are the sort of side that would get beat by Barnsley in the cup and then absolutely own Inter the following Tuesday. I just hope to God that's right now.
Good Luck Against Inter And Thanks For The Praise Any idea why the ref bottled the penalty? I'm putting it down to being at Kop end.
As I said to the taxi driver on the way to the ground There are three big clubs in this country, everyone else is kidding themselves - Man United, Arsenal and Liverpool.
Coming to Anfield will always inspire people. I don't know of a single other ground I've been to where I can say I've seen played two won two ... and I've made over 50 grounds. Today and 10 years ago the legend that isAnfield inspired the Barnsley players and fans to something that will live in my memory for a long time.
My enduring football memory is of my 80 year old father (who is now dead) jiggingand singing at Anfiled 10 years ago and eventually being asked by a steward who looked concerned for his safety to stop swinging on the railings - he was normally far more reserved at football, it's the only time I've ever seen him like that. Yesterday I took my 4 year old daughter to her first game, in the hope that the buzz of Anfield would excite her and get her hooked. I couldn't have dreamt of a better introduction to football ...although imagine her disappointment in 15-20 years time when she eventually realises that back on that day daddy really was telling the truth and sadlyit itsn't like that every week.
When Barnely next come to Anfiled, in however many years that might be (and experience tells me that's more likely to be later ratherthan sooner) you'll need your memory jogging of what yesterdays result was ... none of us will, it's the sort of magical memoriesthat see us through the lean times.
We've got Norwich away next ... how about you?
p.s. that's a retorical question

great post..... .....well done for managing to get a ticket, am a bit jealous of course but glad you and the little one had a great day. The only problem now - explaining to her why Colchester away on a Tuesday isn't quite as interesting, but why "we have to go anyway"
Barnsley FC have given me the best day out of my life
I'm glad you came on here and said that....we did so well, a lot of luck was involved as well mind you.
But what a day. Football really doesn't get any better than that.
Best of Luck against Inter. Seriously.

Thanks a lot mate True gentleman (presuming your a man lol), takes something to come on here after you lost. Liverpool fans are truely the greatest in this country, staying back and clapping at the end was fantastic, cheers for a great day out!!!
