"A seven-year-old girl died after her quad bike was involved in a head-on collision with a Range Rover in Essex. The crash occurred in Fingrith Hall Lane, just outside the village of Blackmore, on Wednesday evening ... at about 1900 GMT." A seven-year-old girl riding (her own!) quad bike on the road in the middle of winter after dark. Is that what passes as parenting these days? Christ on a (quad) bike, I'm lost for words.
Kids riding such things on the street, no insurance! Mind you - if I agree with you then it probably means you are getting old and grumpy!
I live a sheltered life I'd assumed they were off-road things, particularly for kids of that kind of age.
Kids of that age should not be allowed to drive them. My view is that the parents were more the cause of that child's death than the driver of the vehicle.
My dear Burgundy Red, Who are you trying to kid ? You do not live a shetered life ! . I am sure somewhere there are pics to prove it ! Freya
