    Barnsley owner Patrick Cryne has turned to superstition in a bid to inspire his side to FA Cup glory.
    Multi-millionaire Cryne has turned back the clock and booked the same team coach that the Tykes used when they travelled to Wembley for their Championship play-off final with Ipswich in 2000 - even though the Tykes lost 4-2 and missed out on a place in the Premiership. Cryne has also booked the same Windsor hotel and even the same rooms the players slept in ahead of the game eight years ago.
    Simon Davey's men face Cardiff in the semi-finals on Sunday week and Cryne said: "We are doing our utmost to repeat the superstitious things.
    I will try to repeat the ritual will all the old stuff, but I'm a bit worried because we have a new club tie for the semi-final.
    I want to wear the same one for the previous final and this leaves me with a big decision."

    If youre supersticious fair enough but if it didnt work the first time whats the point? :)S) :)S)

    I'm planning on wearing the same clothes as for Liverpool and Chelsea - not that I am superstitious but it might help :)

    I am not wearing the same clothes that I wore for the Playoff final we lost thats for sure

    Gonna lose 4-2?

    I'll be taking my lucky Bovril flask that I had to buy on the morning of the Liverpool game, which also served me well for the Chelsea match.

    On that note, why is Wembley the only stadium in the country that bans flasks?

    Yes well that'd work (obviously :D ) its the copying the Ipswich stuff that got me,I mean it did'nt do much good thattime did it

    I think PC is very confused. There's no way he'd want to do everything the same as we did in a game we lost. Anyway, he wasn't part of the set-up then. He'll not know anything about the hotels and such from the Ipswich game. He must be referring to the play-off final when we beat Swansea only he's forgotten that was in Cardiff.

    How does he know where the stayed in 2000 ?

    All the previous club information was lost during Ridsdale`s era, thats why we cant get the season ticket info!
