He's an employee and he has so called repeatedly broke his employers rules therefore he receives a punishment for it.

What's the problem? If he persistently broke the rules and knew damn well what the repercussions were then he only has himself to blame!

If you got in some trouble at work Would you like it splashing all over titnterweb for all your customers to read?
Fair point no, I wouldn't. So, how come it's been pubicly announced? What could be the reason behind that?

I agree Also, I can't believe Ant is the ONLY Oakwell employee who has been in trouble this season. I reckon he's the only one who has been the subject of a "club statement".
RE: If you got in some trouble at work He as broken the managments trust, it's time he got that chip off his shoulder, knuckled down and help his home town club progress. I have always rated him, but he lacks concentration, maybe it's one of those concentration moments that has let him down. Some thing tells me Ant could be on his way. (chinny)
Could it be that the local press had already ran part of the story yesterday, what "facts" they had heard, and then the news of what had happened started being "debated" elsewhere so BFC put their side of the story on the official site. I think that if Antony Kay and others had been warned before and he was the only one not to take notice then he really does only have himself to blame. Surely if you are a professional footballer/athlete you should not drink or only drink a little alcohol and never the day before a match/contest.
