Take over talk, and the fact Keith Hill as been talking about losing his job in recent weeks on radio pig.
keith hill has always talked about losing his job ever since he's been here,,,I think its more of a statement about how fickle the game is and how poorly managers can be treated when things dont go right.. however, given the way hill has turned things around this season i wouldnt have said any new owners would want shut of him,if anything it could be the way he's turned things around that has attracted new interest in the club, you never know.
well if it means millions are going to be invested in this so called take-over then BRRRRRRING IT ON id say..im sure the investor/s would at least put a great name forward for hills job ,,if they didnt keep him,,best interests at heart ect
your in a minority of one leave things as they are,ok an influx of cash might be welcome but if we are going to start getting rid of the manager and buying players that don,t give 2 ****s then kick it out for me.
How do you know that this would be the case? PC has put all he can into this club and now more than ever is the time for new owners with a bit of cash to at least stabilise us properly in this league and threaten a playoff/promotion push. Im sure PC wouldn't sell to any old tom, dick or harry so some folk on here need to chill out i think. We don't even know if theres any substance to these press rumours for starters!!! It really makes me laugh when i've read the objections to a takeover after one great result away. Some folk on here have very short memories from the end of last season when all the talk was about finding new investors cos of the constant selling of our best players and our subsequent plummet down the league. Unfortunately folk need to get real to modern footy and welcome this if true as i've not heard that premier parachute payments are getting slashed anytime soon which will ultimately lead to our relegation from this league as permenent "have nots" imho.
