am i the only one who cant wait for tommorows game?

its great to be looking forward to going down to oakwell again, a team that play with a bit of fire again and a manager who knows what he wants and how to get it out of the players!

i know its early days with Robbins but i think this guy has the makings of a barnsley legend!!! how good is it to actually like the barnsley manager instead of hating nob heads like davey, spackman, parkin!!

should be a good game we will be chomping at the bit after tuesdays win and ipswich have to win so it should make for a entertaining match!

I actually said the other day i wouldn't be surprised if we beat WBA then lose to Ipswich the following match. They're due a win aren't they? They've got some top, top players down their aswell - Edwards, Priskin, Leadbitter etc. Stead and Garvan can't even get in the side no more! We never usually win these '6 pointers' either do we? Especially at Oakwell! Here's to hoping that i'm 100% wrong though. Would be fantastic going into the International break on the back of 2 consecutive wins home wins.

P.S - October is going to be a massive month.

Ive got a feeling it may be our hardist game of the season. Ipswich will not want to lose again before the two week break. I think we'll have to be as good as tuesday or very close to it.....

Absolutely, they've got a point to prove or their Gaffer will end up getting the boot. Robins needs to tell Dicko to give Carlos Edwards a whack too, show him who's in charge. Match winner on his day him.

but if we can play anywhere near the standard we did against wba then we have nothing to fear!

yeah ok we know there are good side and on paper there probably a top 6 outfit but like robins said when he took the job " we must impose our football on other teams and let them worry about us" and i agree with that.

we could name players like edwards and leadbitter etc and worry about them but after tues night shouldnt they be worrying about anderson, colace, hammill, macken and hume and the possibility that if they dont win there gaffer will get the sack! (or maybe they will play ***** to get him the sack)

Supposedly the main match on the 'Football League Show' tomorrow night.

They'll be on the pitch with the players before the game won't they?
