i am really guteed that hes left to be honest.

i thought and still do think he is a good player, who just needed a consecutive run of games in the first team.

but good look to the lad now, and i hope he bangs the goals in and fires walsall to promotion.

I agree, plenty of effort but no talent, just glad he got to start the last few games.

    Tommy Wright can play football

I've seen it, fleetingly, with my own eyes.
He had a reasonable scoring record before he came to us and I was happy when we signed him, especially after his impressive debut.

However, for whatever reason, it didn't work out for him here and we jumped up a level before he'd found his feet in the division below. I think some of the stick he got was unjust but I also think we are daft paying the wages of a kid who, on current form, is way short of the required standard.

I hope he knocks a few goals in on loan, secures a move and things work out for him. He strikes me as a genuine, honest kid who deserves a turn in fortune.

So long, lad, and thanks for never giving up.
