who is very unhappy with what we have signed so far the squad looks so thin is this the best for next season colgan the sheff u lad hassell reid werling devaney togwell johnson howard istan mostto the dutch lad atkinson heckinbottom mccann mattis heslop the big black lad coulson thats about it i will be one of the first to get on davey back if we start s**t we have got to sign two or three may be evan four players that are well known at this level to stay up never mind be mid table i looked at the squad at the start of last season and fort o s**t and i do not think it is any better apart from the soth american lad this year on a plus side tho havb got a mate in norway and muller is red hot player but crazy as well (thats what i like to here tho )
how can you say your not happy with the signings??? by calling them "the dutch lad" and "the big black lad" you obviously know nothing about these new signings as most of us dont either....give the guy a chance and shut up moaning!
Well firstly I think we have to give them time to settle and get to know their teammates. Also, we need to trust the manager, who has seen far more of these players and obviously feels that they will strengthen the squad. As for needing more players - the manager has been quoted as saying he's still looking to bring players in, and there are a few weeks yet until the transfer embargo starts, so lets wait and see.
Some people just want the first oppurtunity to moan, and this lad can't seem to wait to jump on SD's back. For me, the squad can only get stronger. SD's quoted on numerous occasions that more signings will come in. One pre-season friendly doesn't make a season, it's more about fitness, etc at this stage. How about brushing up on the players names?
Is Ferenczi better than Wright ? Is McCann better than Healey ? Is Bruma better than Tonge ? Is Kozluk better than Austin ? Is Werling better than Kay ? Is Ricketts better than McParland ? Is Johnson better than Wroe ? Is Odejayi better than Richards ? Is Mostto better than Jarman ? Davey thinks so , that's why all these out goings were allowed to leave for free. He's yet to finish his squad rebuilding .
It's unfortuanate that already people are begining to psych themselves up in preparation to get on the backs of players and management. I just wonder how shallow their lives are. after yesterdays game there were those, whether jesting or being serious, who were expressing the doom and gloom of our beloved club. Do you people not have the ability to understand that (1) yesterday equated to a training session (2) many of the players are learning about each others playing style (3) that Davey wants to create his own methods of play and that new guys need time to adjust. (4) That they may have been directed not to take risks for fear of injury. I do hope that the moaning minnies who contribute to this board are not preparing an onslaught and character asassination of players and staff. Should you be doing so, particularly after a single friendly then I suggest you start to view and take a long hard look at your own personalities, and who it is you take after or have been influenced by for developing that part of the personality which warrents you to possess the "Critical child". Please try and be more constructive.
shurrup flipping winging ill let you winge if we're already down by christmas, if we arent, shut up and leave em to it
It is a bit premature... ...they'll try and put it together on the pitch - why not try and hold your nerve a little bit? Have a little faith.
This comment got me chuckling "I will be one of the first to get on davey back if we start s**t ". Well you just do that. I forgot that the season is over after 6 games or so of the season..... I mean, look at Sunderland last season, started ****, bottom of league!!!!!
am not just a jump on players back and slag m off am just worried that we are going to get stuffed this season the bookies do not get it wrong and we have now gone from 80 to1 to 100 to 1 yes theres more to come in but what more lower league players from other countrys that we have never herd, i do not like davey do n ot think i ever will have herd a lot about him from people in the club and none have a good word to say i may be wrong but we will not know till about december am just worried (just put dutch lad black lad because i can not spell thats all)
Do you also speak the same way you type?

I think you'll find the bookies are most of the time wrong on who gets relegated and promoted in Football league

Hmmm "i will be one of the first to get on davey back if we start s**t" In my opinion it sounds like you already have. Pre-season friendlies are just that, they are an extension of training. Give the new and old players time to get to know each others strengths and weaknesses and let's see what the new season brings. Also Simon Davey has said that we still need more players and will have them before the season starts.
