[*]I watch the premier league onMatch of the Day but dismiss those players as been mainly out of reach due to cost.[*]I watch the championship teams play against us but I'm too busy watching our players to take notice of anyone else[*]The lower leagues don't even appear on my radar[/list] I always thought thatwasaverage for most football fans, so how come everyone on here seems to have such a wideknowledge of other players?.or are most just bullshitting parroters??

it figures if they are good on a computer game they must be good in real life
logic of a brain dead

FM does help in a way managing other teams, looking at players, end up looking out for them, etc. saying that, it bores the **** out of me
No mate. I haven't got a clue. I still think we should be after Tonton Zola Mokouko, Andri Sigtorsson and Allan Borgvardt, but that's 'cos I haven't played Championship Manager for years.
I havent a clue either Nor do I know who we should sign for the same reasons that you give I've noticed a few players in games against us- but those that are any good arent that likely to sign for us - Kevin Philips or that guy Hull have on Loan from Man U spring to ming in that category.
Only helps in knowing the players names no one inside football would seriously suggest using it as a means of identifying transfer targets.
find your above points very strange. im glad my football knowledge isnt just based on watching our players every week! you dont know what your missing
RE: Do you go watch other teams play then? no i dont, but i do take note of the teams players who we play enough to realise that we have the worst strikers in the division by far!
But then you only get to see them twice a season at most It's that enough time to make a judgement on a player? What would your judgement on KO have been if you had only seen him against Chelsea and Watford?
When Keegan quit England and Taylor was in temporary charge we played a friendly against Italy with Taylor calling up a whole host of fringe players to take at look at as possible England players. The Italy staff were completely thrown not recognising many of the starting line-up, and one the Italy players got out his laptop and loaded up a game of Champ Man. so that the manager could look up the England players to see who they all were. True, if almost irrelevant story.
