by the bbc....radio 1 refuse to have 'these days' by Take That on their radio1 playlist. ....not that I listen to radio 1 anyway but nevertheless hth
Why is it not on the play list? I haven't heard it so don't know if there are any controversial lyrics in it but considering the band that would surprise me.
How dare you Mr R Edstar! Take That (well Gary Barlow) is a legend in the pop world. It's a cracking tune anyhow. Yes Yes Mr Redstar, I know he tried to avoid paying tax but idf someone said to me I could avoid it and it were legal, i'd do the same! hth
It'll be the Nick Grimshaw and Greg James brigade saying Radio One are 'too cool' for Take That. Half the time they make statements like this just to build their own ego. First class w@nkers of the highest order. It's not cool enough for their radio show, yet I bet 20% of their audience have got tickets to their 50+ date sell out tour. Just want to see their name in press features. I don't actually care by the way, just hate these two (and Fearne Cotton).
Can't say I've ever heard it Is it a cover of the B-side of Joy Division's "Love Will Tear Us Apart"?
