I posted on here in the last few days a derogative at your prowess. I think it was in an answer to another post which basically said that you would be down the pecking order , my reply was something like " Lets hope so" Mr McNulty if you are reading this post I apologise to you Sir. It has suddenly hit me that you were asked to sign up to us again by Mr Flitcroft, he has faith in you, you signed....therefore you have faith in him, and us. To me that shows you are dedicated to the cause at Barnsley , we cannot ask for any more than that. I hope that under Mr Flitcroft you will go on and blossom, Mr Wiseman did just that. I wish you well for the season and again apologise now go out there lad and make even more than this old fool eat their words Sincerely Dragon Tyke (Baz) and no I have not been drinking either
mate ... I know I get stupid at times, and say stuff maybe I should not. But after a lot of thinking, and that allus gets mi one of mi 'eads, you start to see stuff a bit better. The second half of last season was a bloody wonder to say the least, so if Mr Flitcroft and his staff think a man is fit to be in his gang then that's good by me. Of course some may fall by the road side , but I think that will be few. Wiseman is a colossus in that respect ... when you look back at the torture he got, yet Flicker was there for him and got him through it and to be a very decent player. I hope he can do just that With McNulty. The buzz just now is awesome and we have a squad that's together, therefore they deserve a fanbase to be together too.
Re: just have ... first glass o' red.... FLICKER OUT Jim doesn't look right, his posture seems all wrong. His head's not up like it was in his first season, he doesn't look strong to me.
Re: just have ... first glass o' red.... FLICKER OUT Not everybody can have the perfect posture. In fact, nobdy can. Except Christopher O'Grady...
Oh, and well said, Baz. I hope you say the same things even when we inevitably lose a few games this season. You're notoriously quick to jump on the lads, so it would be an amazing feat, were you to remain positive for say, 20 minutes of the first game... I ain't making any such promises. I won't dish out abuse, and will not constantly criticise for the sake of it. But I know for a fact I'll bitch and moan at times because I just do. I do it in all aspects of my life. Reight mard arse I am. In between being immature and daft as a brush. Bi-polar, innit? Aye, that.
Re: tha not a reyt fan thee ....get behind 'em I'm serious. I worry about the lads and Jim's had a load of problems.
I don't know you from Adam My friend but I'm loving your post. These lads deserve our support and if jimmy is dipping into this forum I'm sure your post will inspire him rather than having a negative effect. Cracking post and a timely apology. Seems clear to me that we all trust in flicker; that being the case lets trust him to do the right thing, pick the right players and move us on. I do sincerely hope you won't be getting on jimmy macs back if he has a few bad games. Loving the positivity.
