I *did* move his incredibly hilarious snatch post from the <font color="#ff0000">My Match Memories</font> forum.</p>

I didn't realise the poor lamb was so sensitive. </p>

I also moved Korkys <font color="#008000">my match memories</font></p>

Feel free to post what you want in the main forum but <font color="#ff0000">My Match Memories</font>  is supposed to be a serious trip down memory lane. If the board feel that this shouldn't be the case and everything should be a free for all then that's fine - its up to community how all this works. </p>

To be fair - you are Site Admin ... and if you decide to delete something because you feel it's obscene - then so be it.
As some spazmoid said - the board is read by bin lids too - so I suppose if you choose to delete stuff like that I can't really complain.

I would, however, like to say to Dirk, Dillinger, Roundsman & especially Windy ... IN YOUR FACE.

I think we all have a duty to treat them with respect. Seriously.

 

I have an interesting opinion for you ...

... and yes - we should treat them with respect - and I was out of order yesterday, which I have apologised for.

BUT ...

... I have this strange opinion that we shouldn't actually be involved directly with the club.
I feel we should make our suggestions, implement a forum so that the club can respond to them ... and possibly monitor how they perform against what they say they are going to do.
Direct involvement with the club will cause problems.
TT was too close ... and we shouldn't make the same mistakes.
We should be free to air our opinions ... and this BBS should be the home of free speech.
It is hard to rightly criticise someone you know very well ... which is why, in my opinion, we should steer well clear.

I also understand the logic behind getting closer to the club & building links, relationships etc ... but I think the negatives outweigh the positives.

Correct. There's no opinion expressed on here that you don't hear in the boozer or at the match.

This most definitely should NOT be another official outlet for the club.

This is a place for people to complain and whinge, whatever their opinion. If we've to toe the official line of the club then it speaks volumes in my opinion.

I would like to record all club statements on how things will improve etc and check the progress on those issues say, every 3 months?

'I think the .net site almost got it right. I think they set up a system that allowed us to ask questions of the club ... and they got answers. Whether the answers were any good isn't relevant at this point, but they set something up that was intrinsically correct. Where they got it wrong was forming such a close bond with people from the club. You can't be judge, juror, defence & presecution at the same time.'
