Sorry I was sent this quite a while ago and forgot all about it. It is an apology from
    @Redstar

    Dear Members,

This may not be remembered now and likely as not nor am I as a poster, but I want to issue this for my own peace of mind.

Quite some time ago, I made the mistake of posting on the BBS whilst extremely incobent. This perhaps started off as a bit of a wind up but turned quite nasty on my part.

For any hurt and offence caused I am truly sorry. I cannot say that that was not my intention as in some cases in all honesty it was. No excuses from me.

I’ve paid my penance with a permanent ban, I am not expecting that to be lifted anytime soon. However, in true My Name is Earl style I wanted to right the wrong of the past in some small way.

    All the best

    Redstar

PS Let Conan Troutman back on

I think he would like to be let back on unless there are any major objections. New season and all that :D

No objections from me if both of them were allowed to post again, old mate.

Seems to have not posted in 5 years (unless admin has deleted) and I don't even know what Conan did to be removed (I tend to not always actually read who I reply to, unless it goes deep into conversation on 1 thread!)

Fine by me :p You may as well unban Hemsy as well since his second account is already on here!;)

I wasn't around for whatever happened but it takes a big man to own their mistakes

Having met both a few times, I'd 100% welcome them both back on the BBS

To err is human and all that.

Can’t remember what was posted to warrant the ban, but I’d say penance is paid by now.

    Edit

Looked up his posts. I’ve certainly been guilty of calling tories lovely people. Not so sure about ‘bad aids’ mind you…

I’d still say sentence served though. Probably for the best he wasn’t allowed to post through Covid etc mind…!!!

Anyone who is humble enough to admit when they were wrong deserves another chance.
It's a quality everyone lacks sometimes.

Gerrem back on board. What harm can another couple of ultra negative posters do...?

Don't remember them being generally any worse than the rest of us!

Good time to bring anybody back though, given how much positivity there'll be around here when we inevitably start walking the league next season.

I reckon it would need an apology and an undertaking to behave in future to consider allowing them back. There's too much aggression on here as it is.

Please can you allow him back on to explain what 'incobent' means because it sounds like a made up word. Thank you.

This place has been refreshingly sensible, realistic and non toxic on football related matters over the summer.
    Let's keep it that way.
That's as diplomatic as I can manage.
