Although I would love to be proved wrong, this team is just not good enough for automatic promotion, and I fear, it lacks guts and guile to trouble any other contender in the playoffs, the nicey nicey approach by messer's Ritchie and Holden does'nt work, that being said with all the turmoil off the pitch in recent seasons, perhaps we're being too hopeful of a quick fix, but alas, football, unfortunately, is all about now.
The very thought of another year in this talent barren division, fills me with utter dread, and as we know the longer you're in it the harder it is to attract the players to get you out of it. So prove me wrong, show me fight, show me passion and show me your's and I'll show you mine.

    The top six

We simply haven't done well enough against the rest of the top six.

Home - Won v Colchester, Drawn v Huddersfield, Brentford, Swansea

Away - Drawn v Southend, Lost v Colchester, Swansea, Brentford

    1 win, 4 draws and 3 defeats

Aye. Doesn't really bode well for.....

...the play-offs, does it? Though should have beaten Hudds, Swansea and Brentford at home and possibly Sarfend as well by all accounts.
