What if the people who cant buy their tickets straight out could pay monthly so say its £360 for the season (i hope not like) you pay £30 a month... i am not sure if this is already an option as i usually pay in full but it would be a better idea.

    Or

What if you paid the full price for the ticket for every match (from the ticket office) it would be noted on the system and if you have been to say 90-95% of the home games, you can then go at the end of the season and get the refund for the price plus the percent you have missed as to what you would pay per a game if you had a season ticket.

so if its £360 a season ticket you go to 95% of the matches it equals out roughly £15.65 a match but if you have missed 5% of the matches it would be £16.43 a match which would equal £378 altogether £18 in the clubs back pocket plus the profit they have already made with the extra money you have paid per game which would be sitting in their bank account.

the money would sit in the clubs bank account make a nice profit then when you get a big lump sum back at the end of the season you would maybe reconsider getting a season ticket the season after.

Or is there something more technical like tax or something that would not make it a good enough idea to put in place.

i shall await to be shot down.

    1. They're not going to give you a loan at 0% interest for 12 months when they already charge a feee for paying by Switch
    2. They need the money up front as working capital. If they allow an interest free loan for 12 months why would anyone in their right mind pay up front?
    3. They already have some form of deferred payment plan (Not interest free though)
    4. You're talking about not only a season ticket but a 22/23 season ticket, 21/23 season ticket, 20/23 season ticket and so on. Would be unworkable. If someone goes to half the matches without a season ticket why would you want to give them any money back? Not good business.

I genuinely don't think the club can do anything to make ST's more attractive to those supporters who have the time and opportunity to attend all or the vast majority of home games.

It's the other supporters who the club really need to work on if crowds are to increase. And ignore those who want such supporters punishing for their lack of commitment.

Didn`t like doing that last year, paying for next season whilst still watching present season, and I cant see me paying more than I have to so I just hope they return to June date for early bird cut off.

Pop 6-7 quid a week away over the course of the year and you don't notice it's gone as it's only the price of a couple of pints. Much better than paying out over 300 in one go. Obviously you need to trust yourself that you won't go into the funds.

Nowt to do with not having finances in place just having to shell out a coupla months earlier than what has been the norm for the discount. Why?

I'd like to see a credit card style season ticket - rest of my mate's clubs have them! I feel left out :)
