Or maybe abit too extreme, you decide.... Subject of Bobby Hassel. Though it would be a great idea for thought that when he leaves Barnsley Fc (Depending on what terms). Would it be a good idea to retire the number 2 shirt when he leaves? Been a brilliant servant for the club, just under five years weve had him. Been through the thick and thin of it, same as most fans. Good role model to any kid coming through the Academy. Always performs to satisfactory +. Adapted to play well in two positions. Never comes across as a show pony refering to likes of Brian Howard. Played in the lower leagues and is now a good strong championship player. And to get back and clear that off the line against Wednesday was rarther exceptional and tops it off for me. Ive noticed some other clubs have retired some of their numbers in good memeory of past popular players. Or maybe I am just jumping the gun.
Bit extreme .... he's a great player but I don't even think he'd be in my best Barnsley 11 that I've seen in watching Barnsley over the last 30 years
hahahahahahahhahahahahaha usually players have to die 1st!!!! think ya still full of beans after tuesday
Perhaps when he leaves all staff at the club should have a picture of him tatooed on their foreheads.
Why dont we retire K.O shirt in rememberance of him scoring against chelsea then he cant wear it again!
If the No2 were to be retired surely that should be in respect of Barry Murphy......although I dont think Barrys ready to kick the bucket yet...still getting round silkstone golf club like a mountain goat...

there used to be a bloke on here who would have laughed until his eyes bled at that suggestion Tyrone (what happened to him?) hated Bobby with a passion
